Have you ever been to a concert, the State Fair, or to Six Flags and had the thought, "This place would be great for a scavenger hunt"?? Think of all the random people you see, the strange attire, the oddly-placed clothing. Large crowds often bring out humanity's randomness and creativity at its best. For example, the mullet is a staple of any quality scavenger hunt. Double points if you get a picture with said person sporting the mullet. Triple points if said person is female.
So we want your help. Provide here in the comments section ideas for things to include on a scavenger hunt around the UK and Europe. The list can include types of people, specific places, abstract ideas to find creatively...basically whatever your inspired and clever mind comes up with and deems worthy of a backpacking scavenger hunt. We'll have our cameras at the ready with your fantastic ideas in mind, and I have no doubt it will bring a whole new level of adventure and entertainment to what is already shaping up to be one killer trip.
Thanks, people. =)
Now, who knows how to upload photos into this blog environment?

-As far as cool places to go, I recommend the Basilica of St Francis in Assissi, Italy. Beautiful church with some really cool dark areas of solitude. The whole town is awesome as well.
ReplyDelete-Resolve to get lost in every big city you visit. It's so much fun to get lost and not have to worry about being somewhere at a certain time. Florence, Italy was great for this on my travels.
-Sunbathing French men sporting nothing but a speedo in public. They make for a good laugh.
-Oh and Belgium is awesome... you should converse with someone in Flemish at least once on the trip.
how to upload photos:
ReplyDelete-click to create a New Post
-in the menu on top of the box where you type in all your text there is a little image icon. When you run your mouse over it you will see the text "add image". Click that icon and voila! now you can choose and upload your images.
It can be a pain sometimes to work with since it most likely loads the images at the top and you either have to drag them down to where you want them, or if it won't let you drag the images, then you have to cut and paste them into the spot in your text where you want them to be.
Also, imagine them getting loaded as a list and the first one you load is at the bottom, the second one goes on top of the first and so on. SO, if you want a picture at the top of your page, load it last (or then if you are just going to cut and paste them it really doesn't matter in what order you load them.
Hope that helps!
